Job Description
JOB PURPOSEThe Marketing Manager is for developing an executing the company’s marketing and customer engagement strategy for corporate and product branding, lead generation and customer loyalty.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Manager must operate in line with management directives and operate in accordance with the Company’s Procedures, Policies, Standards and Quality Management System. The operational responsibilities of this position include:
Management & Leadership
1. Creating and executing a marketing strategy and budget to meet the organizations strategic and operational objectives.
Branding, Lead Generation and Customer Loyalty
1. Managing the design and production of all marketing materials.
2. Copywriting content for marketing materials, web-content, customer communication, in-product announcements, presentations etc.
3. Running integrated marketing campaigns.
4. Hands-on management of web marketing and search engine optimization
Media & Event Management
1. Writing, issuing and ensuring publication of press releases.
2. Managing barter deals and advertising contracts with media companies.
3. Participating in and ensuring a professional presence and maximum mileage at exhibitions, conferences, symposiums etc.
4. Organizing events such as product launches, networking seminars etc.
Research & Reporting
1. Execute market research programs to:
a. Track competitor’s b. Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, products and services etc. c. Ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet evolving market and competitive conditions
2. Participating as a part of the core team responsible for new product design and product improvements.
3. Generate periodic budgets, forecasts, market, and performance reports as required.
