The Community Engagement division will focus on reinvigorating the sense of national pride that swept Expo 2020 to victory in 2013 and accelerating the active participation of our people, both at home and overseas. Between now and October 2020, a rich programme of engaging events, activations and programs will be launched that will appeal to the values on which our nation is built.

Opportunity Responsibilities 

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• - Support in the development of project materials and other supporting documents (presentations, briefs, visuals, correspondence, etc.) to support the development and delivery of projects;

• - Provide day to day support in reporting progress of the projects and programmes;

• - Develop content for the projects as per requirements, coordinating with relevant team members, where required;

• - Provide assistance on various projects for the purpose of cross-functional collaboration and integration;

• - Liaise with internal Expo departments and coordinate information with external stakeholders and contacts as per requirements;

• - Provide media assistance and represent the programmes in a range of media and publicity opportunities;  

• - Attend regular coordination meetings with internal/external stakeholders;

• - Provide additional support as per business and team requirements.

Skills

 

2+ years of relevant experience as well as:

• - Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;

• - Proficient in written and spoken Arabic;

• - An understanding of community engagement concepts, events planning, media and publicity, projects operations and public speaking;

• - Excellent communicator with external stakeholders;

• - Ability to interface with employees at all levels;

• - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;  

• - Excellent negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

• - Flexible,  resilient and positive  through organizational  growth and change.
